Taxi

The Southern Highlands Taxi Company operates locally, and we can contact them for you. They are often parked on Bong Bong Street in the evenings. We are also located directly across from Bowral train station.

Parking

We have a small on-site car park with limited spaces. Additional parking is available on Wingecarribee Street and at the Bowral train station car park across the street. If the train station car park is full, more spaces can be found further down Station Street.

BYO

We are fully licensed, offering a curated wine list from France and Australia across all budgets. BYO is not permitted. Outside cakes are not allowed.

Bar / Drinks Only

We welcome guests who wish to enjoy drinks only, particularly on our terrace. Please note we do not have a traditional bar area with seating.

Happy Hour

Enjoy hand-shucked oysters at half price, along with half-price drinks by the glass – including wine, beer, and cocktails.

Takeaway

Yes – we offer takeaway, though not all menu items are available for this service. Please call ahead to check availability.

Children

From the very beginning, Julien’s has been privileged to host countless family celebrations. While children are always welcome, their supervision and behaviour remain the responsibility of their parent or guardian. We kindly ask that children remain seated, quiet, and under control at all times. A children’s menu is available for guests under 12.

To ensure the comfort of all diners, we may request that babies or toddlers be taken outside to be soothed. Due to limited space, we are unable to accommodate prams and highchairs in the dining room when the restaurant is fully booked, particularly during weekends. We recommend using our in-house highchairs (available in limited numbers and best requested when booking).

Credit Cards

All major credit cards are accepted. A 1.55% surcharge applies.

Accessibility

There is a 10 cm step at the entrance. A portable ramp can be arranged with advance notice.

Dress Code

The dress code at Julien’s is smart casual. The dress code is intended to help foster a memorable experience for all guests.

Gift Cards

Yes – gift cards are available for purchase. Please note we do not accept gift cards issued by the previous tenants of the Brasserie, as we are a completely separate business.

Group Bookings

We can accommodate groups of up to 25 guests with prior arrangement. The restaurant’s full capacity is 80 guests across multiple rooms, available only for private functions.

Private Dining Room

Seats up to 25 guests. We can sometimes reserve it for smaller groups if it’s not busy, but on weekends you may wish to book it as a private space. Please contact us to arrange this.

Seating Requests

We do our best to honour seating requests, subject to availability and at our discretion.

Smoking

We are a non-smoking venue, including the terrace. Smoking is permitted in the car park area, but food and drinks may not be taken there.
